I've been using LastPass for years and it hasn't done me wrong, but I'm not sure about going for it for my team at work. Leaning towards 1password. Is 1password open source? --- "It was so ridiculous and I have so many feelings about it." -Virtual Energies ... Copied to Clipboard!

1Password is not open source. You're thinking of Bitwarden. --- http://i.imgur.com/R15aJJ3.png http://i.imgur.com/NJqp6LS.png ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't have any experience with Bitwarden. I manage our Engineering dept's 1Password account and it's very easy to manage. You can assign individuals or groups permissions to vaults. So say I put you in the Web Developers security group, you'd automatically get access to 3 specific vaults. We have ~30 different vaults spread out across 8 teams. The browser extension works well and you can recover someone's access easily if they forget their private key. --- http://i.imgur.com/R15aJJ3.png http://i.imgur.com/NJqp6LS.png ... Avoid LastPass like the plague due to how theyve handled their recent breaches 1password is the best right now or bitwarden if you want to keep your vault local Im not aware of a password manager that is as good as LastPass when it comes to enterprise management (like deploying policies and stuff). But all of them are good enough for small teams ... Copied to Clipboard!
