I don't recall there being one.

That would be Year 9 here. We went to an amusement park for the day to 'examine the movements of the rides' or some BS like that, I remember my classmates bragging about it to everyone not taking Physics.

Depends on the subjects you were taking. I think generally by that age onwards it's not too common. The only others I remember from high school (we call it college) were a Biology trip to a local park, and a History trip to the University for a lecture.

Sorry but we dont finish school then and we dont use the term graduation for finishing school, so I had no idea.

Catalina Island, snorkeling, hiking, outdoor sports etc, it was mid.

For 8th grade grad night, we went to Six Flags Magic Mountain. The park was only 8th graders from around 7pm to midnight. Surprisingly, the lines were very short for most of the rides, so we had plenty of time to ride everything. It was a lot of fun.

We didnt have a grade 8 trip where I lived since we went straight to high school after grade seven. No middle school here.

My grad trip for senior year was NYC though. Was a lot of fun, but very rushed because we only got five days there.

Fuck all, my middle school didn't have a fancy graduation trip.

In grade 7 I took part in Ventures where a group of us went camping for about 3 days. I recall getting sick during the trip. It was fun otherwise until then.

Grade 8 I believe is when we went to Science World. Grade 9 (or 10) was the Vancouver Aquarium. Grade 11 I went with my physics class to the PNE/Playland.

EDIT: Now that I recall in 11 or 12 I also had an art field trip in the city. We went to a couple of museums and checked out a studio that made blown glass.

in high school we had a retreat at the start of grade 9.

My grade 8 trip would have been to a local amusement park about an hour away. But I wasn't allowed to go because I had outstanding detentions I never served. My parents couldn't afford to pay for it anyway.

However, in 6th grade I did attend a weekend trip to a language camp (French), in which one friend and I ended up being tackled by councilors because they thought we were running away. I also fell in love/had my first crush on the camp admin. She was so pretty and nice.

My friend was pissed off because we were in the downstairs room of the cabin, and all of the "cool kids" where upstairs and just stomping around all night, so he couldn't get sleep. So he was protesting by sleeping on the bench outside of the room, becaues the teachers and councilors refused to do anything about the kids upstairs. So in solidarity I fell asleep on the bench too. I woke up in my bed with the camp admin sitting next to my bed and she asked if I slept well. >_>

We went on a greyhound bus to Springfield il and rubbed Lincolns lucky nose. We then stopped at old country buffet

In my 8th grade avid class we visited some marine park and rode on a boat with a glass floor segment that allowed us to watch the fishies .

This was in Okinawa. I don't remember the name of the place tho. Tbh I'm not even sure if it was considered a park damn. All I remember is the boat.

I don't remember exactly, one of Gettysburg, Washington DC or Statue of Liberty and whatnot in the area.

Basically all of my middle school field trips were canceled because of 9/11 in 7th grade and the D.C. sniper in 8th. I think there were a bunch of other things (big snows, etc.) that prevented most of the 6th grade trips. The kids in the grade behind us had some rich parents, so they got extra field trips each of the respective years while we just had all of ours canceled.

We consider is graduating from elementary school I guess. Iunno. It's just supposed to be a special thing for moving into HS

I wasn't in school between 4th and 9th grade

I actually skipped it, they were going to DC and my parents decided to do a whole east coast vacation.

We were at Busch Gardens when we happened to run into my class.
