Yeah its when they are going through the hunters hotel.

She uses it at the end to cover joel after she saves his life. idk if it will translate over to the show as well cause he's more of a dick to Ellie in the game. So its like a big he's warming up to her moment but in the show she stole the gun from bill.

I think the gun situation was better handled in the game. Joel teaches her to respect the weapon in the game. In the TV series, he just gives it to her and she snickers about it like a weird homicidal person. In the game, it seemed like Ellie only wanted a gun to help Joel vs the TV version, it's like she wants to kill.

I'd rate this episode 8.5/10. 1 to 3, 9/10.

Seems they're retroactively adding in some of Ellie's personality from later stuff. She's always had that darkness in here.

Kind of a slow(and short) episode. Not saying its bad but its basically just setting up the next story arc. Next weeks episode looks like its gonna be a good one.

That Kathleen character had a pretty bad introduction imo. Idk if it's the actress acting poorly or what but she was not intimidating at all. And the post episode snippet with Druckmann about her and how the military guy follows her just cuz felt so dumb lol

Yeah not a fan of Kathleen so far. I'd buy her as the leader of the Hunters if she was maybe a little more charismatic but as is nah.

Hope they flesh her out a bit better next episode.
