Destroyed the face but did nothing to account for identifying body features. Moles, freckles, scars, tattoos, teeth, DNA, etc. It's good that the killers have been quickly identified and hopefully they go to jail for a long time. But the fact that an innocent woman is dead over such a ridiculous scheme is just heartbreaking. At least her family knows what happened. :(

So the 24 years old German-Iraqi beauty blogger wanted to run away from trouble at home, hiding due to internal family disputes. Probably got something to do with her Iraqi part of her family and her ex-husband, they got a strong code of honor and believes that a woman leaving her husband causes a huge dishonor to fall on her family, and killing her will remove the dishonor.
She tricked somebody that had the same type of body and hair as her to meet her and her boyfriend, told her family that she would see her ex-husband, and went killing the poor girl with the help of her boyfriend. They stabbed her over 50 times and ruined her face before placing her in the beauty bloggers car, hoping it would make everybody believe she was dead.
Her parents thought that it was her and identified her as their daughter.
Luckily the police took a DNA test and discovered that it was somebody else.
My guts tells me that she will be dead in the near future.

Half a year ago, we had two Romani boys, 22 and 17 years old, that hit their own mother and her new boyfriend with a car, killing her, to restore honor because she had left their father. Minutes later, they posted a video about it on Facebook.

Same type of body, same type of hair, face is fucked up, found in her car, a quick look and it is easy to make that mistake.

You wouldnt try to convince her to return to that asshole just to restore your family honor.
You dont believe that her death will restore your family honor and you wouldnt go as far as killing her yourself.
It is a culture where women are not worth the air they breath, so they react different.
