It made me realise that the last two games do the opposite of most western AAA release. It focuses on the gameplay, story and exploration while having puzzles you need to think like older games. Most AAA games are very big, but I barely can remember the characters. I find the characters in God of war interesting despite not having too many of them and the progression kinda reminds me of classic Zelda games instead of having 20333843 fetch quests as padding

My only disappointment is the soundtrack. I was expecting it to be more catchy since it wons prizes at game awards

The combat is 10x better than the old button mashy shit on top of the characters and story being more interesting

I'd be curious to see what games they consider "good" gameplay.

It's fun for once to have a western games that is not mass effect with 2030393 generic forgettable characters

It's good but...I was disappointed in the end. I liked the first one more but the sequel is a clear step up in the gameplay department.

Yeah, the new one improved over the last one in almost every way. Had a blast with it.

The game is a masterpiece and I don't use that word often.

Most games don't reinvent the wheels and that's ok. It's great at what it does

Did they finally patch in about characters solving the puzzles for you? That was probably the most annoying thing in the entire game. They need to give an option with either an on/off switch or a timer about it. Otherwise, yeah I consider it the best cinematic game I played. Also there's a plot twist in the game that really impressed me. Normally when a plot twist happens I go "bullshit", but this time I went "oh shit, that makes so much sense". I'm not going to give it away, but when it happens you'll know.

No unfortunately. I kinda wish it would be like Navi in Zelda where you could ask a hint
