You try punish a spammer, but she just neutral b's again because input lag and online lag, making it sometimes damn near impossible to win if you play a melee character.

yeah, her reflector's an insane "get off me" tool now, and camping and ledge trapping with the armor thing is really dumb. she's not even close to being the most annoying to fight, though. the game's chock full of cheese, jank, and... ugh... DLC characters...

i can usually handle any other character, but whats the point of a punish window if her neutral b starts up and overrides my attack anyway, and then her ultimate just sucks you in unless you're like 50 feet away from her

she's kinda annoying but she's still zelda and not very good
so many bad zelda players use neutral b for landing and think they're so clever for using up b as an offensive recovery option when you can shield and punish it with a smash attack

as a fighter commonly listed as among the annoying, she's probably the worst tier-wise and a lot of online players just rely on gimmicking you. the only good zelda i ever fought online was ven and they're literally the best zelda in america

Any spammy character is not fun to play against.

I just play my nephew and I'm still trying to beat him. He uses Hero and everytime I see that spell list go up I get nervous.

Is everything actually safe? Because it says that Zeldas neutral B is -25 on shield. I mean Im more of a traditional fighting game player, but -25 is hella unsafe in every game Ive ever played

with smashs input lag you gotta be damn near frame perfect. I've attacked immediately following the moves hitbox ending and still got clipped by another neutral B

You're completely correct. You can drop Shield and jab if you're close enough or up+b. But it's also pretty long, so just bait it.
TC, do you play on wifi?

DLC characters are worse IMO.

It says theres 6 frames input delay, which isnt going to drastically affect your punish. What character(s) do you play? And do you play wired or wifi?
