I have a shelf, total length is 73", ideally without taking everything off of it, I have 57". Total height from shelf to ceiling is 39". It can't be mounted so it will have to use the stand. Aren't TVs generally 16:9? Meaning you can do Pythagorean theorem like (16x)^2+(9x)^2=whatever inches the TV is. Then solve for x. Times 9 is the height, times 16 is the width.
