it would be like an added perk -- i started a podcast but there was a 15 second chase bank ad at the beginning. i already use them, so i should be exempt from having to listen to that ad.

Even if advertising did work that way, you wouldn't get to skip the ad you would just be subjugated to another ad in its place. But advertising doesn't work like that and Chase Bank, in this example, wants their ad to hit you even if you're already their customer.

It would be kinda tough to do something like that, unless you're willing to add your log on information for everything you subscribe to, and have that information intertwine with each other.

Like, how would The Rewatchables podcast know where I bank, or if I have a Blue Apron account to know not to run those ads?
