And I absolutely loved it. I went snowboarding last winter and thought it was ok. But skiing was transcendent. I want to buy a pair of my own skiis. Beefbud posted... Skiing is way more accessible for first timers than snowboarding so that's no surprise. I'm also an avid rollerblader and decent ice skater. I've never been any good at skateboarding. Skiing feels like a natural extension of the former to me, and snowboarding more the latter.
