Because not everyone can be as talented at dual languages? Fuck you probably only have so many artist that go between two languages and one is Hikaru Utada and they are basically the biggest exception who doesnt even really fall into J-Pop as their genre.

There's also the fact that, as much as I enjoy their music in both languages, they've never been commercially popular in the English-speaking sphere while they're an absolute mega-star in their "home country" (a term I hesitate to use because they were actually born in the United States and raised here for several years).

Which is an absolute shame for that reason. I mean hell most people probably only know the two US albums while Precious is somewhat forgotten (hell Im going to see if you can even buy that on iTunes)
