That's a load of shit. Both of my parents as well as most male family members with wives/girlfriends and daughters are believers of the saying "Fuck around and find out." Its not self defense unless you are actually defending yourself from harm, or the perceived threat of harm.

Everyone in this topic advocating that they would hit a woman if they were hit first are not advocating for self-defense, what you are advocating for is retaliatory violence aka revenge

Self-Defense is done out of necessity. Revenge is done out of anger.

I made one throwaway post over a year ago. Didnt even return to read the replies. Why would you remember that?

But yea, I loved the training/story mode from the first trailer. I competed in MMA from 2012-2015, was a traveling Gypsy, going from gym to gym. This is well documented on the MA board, you can even go watch my fights if you like.

Prior to Covid I use to always live blog myself at industry events. People would ask me questions, Id answer, take pics, and wed have a good time.

Post Covid, I was just met with harassment. People complaining that Im outside in a pandemic. My photos/videos kept getting marked, and I couldnt make a topic sharing the experience without getting suspended.

So I took the hint and stopped sharing them. Not going to share stuff nobody wants to see.

But yea, as an ex-mma fighter with a healthy social life, nobody in the real world is actually advocating for retaliatory violence upon women.

Yall are just being weird internet denizens. This logic doesnt work in real life.

You dont get to go around inflicting violence upon women because they deserve it if you really want to use that self defense argument then you have to first convince me that as a male you are so weak & feeble that you cant safely walk away from a physical attack from a female.

If you are able bodied, and the female lacks a deadly weapon, then you shouldnt be in a life threatening situation.

If as an able-bodied male you are honestly finding yourself in a life threatening situation while being physically assaulted by a femalethen I dont know what to tell you. Thatscertainly something.

However, that isnt really that argument that the 60 or so people in this topic (whom are advocating for the male from video) are making. They are simply saying that the woman deserved to be hit back, because she attacked him first.
