Yeah, guys, a lot of places in the world aren't like the US and other western countries. Lots of people don't experience diversity. It's a shock to them.

the people living in some areas literally don't even have a choice whether they want to follow a certain religion. it's either believe or die

Its sad cause one of the ways to end racism is with exposure to other races and finding out every bodys the same.

I mean it's not shocking or anything. Grow up surrounded by white Christians isolated from diversity where your only exposure to Muslims comes from news reports on terrorists. Homogeneous cultures tend to beget xenophobic tendencies in someway.

Her son if he continued to go to school surrounded by diversity would have likely befriended many of his POC peers and the racist tendencies would melt away..

Yeah like I said, a lot of racists are usually from those who are not exposed to diversity and tend to grow up in homogeneous cultures. What I'm hoping for is that their racism is that of ignorance and not malice, because at least ignorance can be taught and learned over time, but not the ones with bad intention that think their race is superior.
