I slowed down, put on my flashers, and got off the highway and turned into a gas station parking lot. Cop whipped in behind me jumped out of his car and ran over screaming at me to get out. When I did demanded to know why the hell I didn't pull over immediately, then before I could say anything, threatened to arrest me for running from him, put me on the ground and cuffed me. Luckily the dude he called for back up showed up, and then after a few minutes of explaining made the other cop uncuff me and let me go without even a warning. Had another time when I was a teenager where a cop got super fucking angry that I wouldn't let him search my car. Pulled me out, cuffed me, and said he was going to get a dog to come check out my car and then he'd be able to search. Those are the non protest stories I have. I've watched them rough up, and been roughed up by them, during various protests here. Saint Louis PD is a bunch of shitheads. Damn. Sorry my friend.
