i fine myself healing more than i do DPSing. is that just cuz im at the lower levels and no one has their kit

i try to do some dps but usually 2 or 3 stones in, the tank is at 50% and i panic

If they're not dead they're fine

The only hp that matters is the last one.

Also if dps want to fight in the edge of the arena out of healing range, they can die in the edge of the arena.

Before you and the tanks have their kits you don't have enough "oh fuck" buttons or oGCD abilities so it's fine to be cautious. But after like level 70 you have enough emergency options that you'll rarely if ever need any GCD healing unless it's something like the sage shield heal on the tank while the tank is pulling an entire hall.

If you still have Stone as your attack spell, you're not at a high enough level to worry about trying to DPS very much. Focus on healing until you get stuff like Regen and your OGCD heals, then you can start playing a bit more aggressively and pop out instant-cast heals as needed.

ok thats what i thought. ill stick to spamming cure until i get more of my kit

lol i played a resto druid in wow for many years so this isn't my first rodeo with healing. just in FF14. my main job is a Warrior.

i gotta say though, i love healing as a Warrior

there was a dungeon once where the healer and one dps died and i proclaimed "I am the healer now" and healed my partner and we took down the boss lol.

Yeah, WHM is rough because all your oGCDs are at the tail end of the leveling process.

right now im level 30. im leveling pretty fast with just the leveling duty routettle, but i know people say to use PoTD to level 1-50?

what about after 50

Just keep doing the highest level dungeon you have access to

Wait. You mean I'm meant to do something else other than Holy Spam on my White Mage?

I think someone doesn't want any of the rare healing/raising I offer then!
