You pull into the station with 0% battery. In the only stall available there is a person currently fiddling around with the plug, it doesn't seem to be working. You glance at the box and realize you've seen this issue before and know the exact fix for it. While fiddling around the person notices you waiting and asks you if you know what is going on.

Do you:

Tell the person the fix, allowing them to charge their car, but causing you to wait, the wait is about 40 minutes

Or

Tell them you don't know what is going on, causing them to leave and letting you charge your car instead.

I tell them how to fix it because I'm not an asshole

This is why electric cars need the rough equivalent of a jerrycan

I tell the person the fix and wait. I'd never let my car get down to zero like that in the first place. I usually fill my car up once I fall below half a tank of gas.

I hate the term "portable charging station." It's a fucking battery, for fuck's sake. A BATTERY!

Call it a battery!

Calling it a "portable charging station" makes it seem like it generates electricity, which it doesn't do. It only stores it.
