I'm betting the M&M merch just wasn't selling anymore. They probably hoped they could revive interest with the redesigns but then they kind of flopped. I mean, you probably aren't offended by Green M&M's change, but I don't know if that means you're going to run out and buy a Funko Pop of the redesign.
