PVP is awesome though, especially the free for all fights look great

Nah Id just get whooped constantly. Cant wait for the story dlc whenever it comes though.

i love the options, 3v3 teams being possible to do at all is sick, but there's so much broken shit that i haven't been interested in trying.

i also don't know what level i should be, and definitely don't want to make a new character because you can't respec to lower levels

yes, and i was doing it before the arenas dropped, too.

it's awesome. i did a lot of arena time in ds2 and it brought me back to it so hard and the mindset is the same, and so is the general skill level. you'll run into players that know what they're doing, and ones that are dipping their toes into pvp for the first time in the souls series.

to me it's a little bit of a relaxing excursion because i usually invade, and that usually means 2v1 or 3v1. it gives you a chance to actually test counters to things without having to worry that someone is gonna jump in and fuck it all up.

i don't think they really understand the arena matchmaking yet -- it could very well be like in dark souls 2 where it would try and match you up to someone within range and then switch to whoever was there.

No. I'm just not as good at PVP videogames anymore. Getting old sucks. Plus I just know I'd mostly be facing folks who are masters at ER or spammers and cheats.

179. i wish respecing was free after you beat the game or something, and that you could store unused levels, because i'd gladly switch to whatever the most players are using. because i know it ain't 180, lol

hey, i remember the day and player and fights where i realized i couldn't just win on speed any more. i think i had just turned 31; i got pasted 5-0 by this absolute prodigy. added him to gush.

it just meant that i had to learn mind games. it was probably the thing that most-improved me as a player.

i haven't run into any cheaters in the arena yet. spammers, of course. masters, only a couple.

so it's complicated. 125 and 150 were both levels that people were trying to push as the pvp meta, so there's going to be activity at those, but also a lot of people never cared about that and just kept leveling and there are a lot of stories where people continue to find activity as they level. i think you'll get hits.

I could instead spend my time playing a game specifically designed for multiplayer. PvP in the Souls games is interesting for about 30 minutes.
