getting tired of doing all these deliveries

By literally all accounts, working in an Amazon warehouse looks and sounds like an utterly miserable job to have

B-b-but the commercials make it look like an exciting opportunity!

Only heard bad things about it, like Foxxcon in China but like 10x worse lmao

Ive read all sorts of negative media articles but every actual person Ive known thats worked there has had positive things to say about it

Were they recent employees? Amazon had to change tactics due to burning through potential applicants too fast lol. Happened during the job exodus of the last 2 years where people got tired of putting up with BS from their employers, including Amazon. So now they're burning through people to the point that they're exhausting the potential pool of applicants.

i dont put up with abuse or being taken advantage of

They just put up a warehouse here in my area.

Not sure if it's open for business yet.

That's been my experience too. It says a lot that those people don't actually stay, but they still love the place.

Also Amazon are starting to layoff a lot of people, do you really want to work for that company?

They put up a warehouse near me and as a result I knew lots of people who left their jobs to go work there. Only one of them ever said he liked it and the rest left very quickly to either return to their previous jobs or find something else.

A couple of folks that I used to work with at UPS years back wound up there for a bit. They said it's pretty standard warehouse work, but you can make more money or get benefits just about anywhere else that has a similar work environment. Much more if you get/have a tow motor license.

Warehouse work definitely isn't for everyone, but pay should reflect that. I guess Amazon woukd be good if you're looking for a temporary position or something
