Agreed. Boy Scouts sell both popcorn and peanuts officially. Both are overpriced and you can find comparable snacks at the grocery store. Very hard to make money going door to door selling that mess. When I was in Scouts as a kid, we made brunswick stew and make a killing. Cook up about 100 gallons on a early Saturday morning and have it all sold by noon. They could sell those "battle box" things. Just a loot box with a pocket knife, paracord, compass, survival handbook and other camping related gear.
