It was the God of War bundle, so I already have Ragnarok.

I like RPGs, both western and JRPG, as well as racing games and sims like Stardew Valley.

What should I pick up?

Also, I believe there are a number of digital games I own that might have a free version upgrade, but instead of meticulously checking each one, is there a list somewhere?

I also have a bunch of free PS5 upgrades of my PS4 games too

You don't really need anything special. So far it's still basically just a performance upgrade for PS4. Like other dude said, it's a good time to replay some games with better performance if you been putting them off. Im not super big on the exclusives. I just tried Deathloop last night after getting it for $10. Definitely worth that, but it's nothing amazing so far.

If you have Plus you get 19 free digital games, Royal edition included.

I was at a Best Buy yesterday. They had a bunch of PS5/God of War bundles available. I think they are a bit easier to find these days (finally):

Now you dont need to put it in to play it though. File size the same so theres literally no loss to download unless your bandwidth is limited.

Better load time off the digital, you think? Literally load times have kept me from ever finishing this game, it drives me insane.

You will not have to worry about load times on the PS5, like, at all. Digital or physical. It is STELLAR compared to the PS4.

I believe the PS5 has a SSD and works similiarly to the Series X and PS4 where it's only reading an unlock code off of a disk then has everything written locally.

So either way you should see a massive reduction in load times.

I got one recently as well. Like others have said, it's mostly a performance upgrade, so there isn't any "must play" titles yet.

Demon's souls is a well made remake, but it relies on that souls nostalgia imo. I don't think I would enjoy it without having played it previously.

Had the most fun so far with Cyberpunk. Occasionally glitches but runs pretty smooth overall. If you enjoy open world single players you'll like it.
