It really is a wild and foreign concept to me.

I grew up in a two-income household where both of my parents worked. My dad was head of maintenance for a bunch of different bank branches, and my mom was a VP of the consumer lending department at one of those banks. She made A LOT more money than him, and I never really saw their relationship as anything more than a 50/50 split of responsibilities.

This idea of the "Man of the House" was never really a thing in my house.
