Ive almost bought this many times and each time it seems someone suggests against it so i dont.

It plays well enough and is okay for what short amount of time it is, but they tried to prioritize continuing to play it, and there's not much incentive to keep doing so.

Just try it on Game Pass or PS Plus if you can.

Honestly, I enjoyed it. They expected it to be played for a long time, but I don't think it's meaty enough for that. It gets repetitive pretty quickly. More fun with friends though. But it is 100% worth playing especially with a rental service.

If you love and I mean love the MCU or just Marvel in general, then it's worth a playthrough and nothing else. If you're not that much of a fan or just want to play something, then there's way better out there

I only watched a lets play channel cover it. But it looks like after an intro section, you eventually hit a point where the game just throws random grind missions at you. The story goes to a halt and that is where the lets players stopped

I always have multiple games im trying to pick and each time i get responses like this. Its such a massive red flag that theres not one or two die hard fans vouching for it. Its literally the avengers.....

So a choice seems to be Darksiders Genesis for 10 or Avengers endgame edition for 12.

It's crap. The matchmaking has been shit for a long ass time. There are a bunch of bugs, some achievements are also bugged. The combat is good but there's just not much content to run.
The loot/gear sucks, most people just rush missions since drops are trash. Right now the newest end game gear is bugged where the stats don't scale as they should.

If you can find it for 5 bucks or less go ahead and get it. I hear matchmaking is better on PS and they get Spider-Man, but otherwise they're ripping you off even at 5 bucks.

From what I hear the story is fine and the gameplay is decently fun but its bogged down with intrusive MTX and grinding. Graphics are good(not great) but a lot of the characters look like they tried to be the MCU actors without actually using their likeness so it feels wierd.

So overall pretty whatever.
