One of the users was talking about how JKR has the same stances as hitler, and accusing her of anti-semitism, and asking whether you would support Hitler if he had a game. They said the ONLY difference with Hitler was he was able to act on it. Yes, social media allows for one person to gain a huge platform and appear to be speaking for a larger group than they really are. But there are actually a sizeable amount of LGBTQ+ individuals and supporters that have completely stopped purchasing anything related to JK Rowling. And that includes this game. I especially disagree with his statement that the drama goes away when you turn off your phone. That's basically sticking your fingers in your ears and trying to pretend the problems no longer exist. It doesn't erase the drama, you're just ignoring it. I will say though, that not everyone that's boycotting the game, is angry at people that are buying the game. So that part has some truth to it. Lucas stated that gay people just do not exist in the star wars galaxy The rule was kept from the release of A New Hope all the way til he sold Star Wars. The first gay people to exist in star wars were characters in an expansion for The Old Republic mmo. Even if it's just average it will still be the best and biggest Harry Potter game ever created, and the only one to try to really immerse you in the world. I loved most of the games when I was little and have played Sorcerer's Stone/Chamber of Secrets PS1 multitudes of times over the years. No, they're not masterpieces, but I always found them charming and enjoyed them every time.
