Another fucking jury summons I should have never gave the government my real address It wasnt until I got this stupid CDL

Its just a huge waste of time Hoping they cancel before I go in like that one time Nut since its in the middle of the day, I probably wont know until a little before But that does mean they might get enough people from the morning group I also remember the one time that like most of the cases got canceled They said there were a lot, so most of us were going to get chosen. Then a call came in after like 2 cases, and the rest of us were free

I used to get called for jury duty all the time in California, every year or two, but I've been living in Nebraska for over 16 years now and haven't been called even once.

I was never called before, though I think one may have been sent to my old address But I feel like I get them all the time The first three times were all within a month And that wasnt too long ago, because I was asked for copies (that I didnt have) a few months ago

When you go in for voir dire, tell them you understand the concept of Jury Nullification and consider it a cornerstone of the basic rights of every citizen. They'll probably stop calling you for jury duty after that.

I could do that Though, I will have to make sure I read up on it in case they try to call my bluff
