Should have been an easy home run to adapt but they filled it with all the extraneous bullshit, all this weird sex and rape shit, and a horrible musical number. The Joker is just saying nonsense the whole time, and not good Joker nonsense just bad writing nonsense. I have 10 minutes left. Batman getting with Barbara is too messed up and I hate when they do that in stories. Didn't they get together in the animated universe between TAS and BB too? Honestly, I was never a huge fan of the original story either and I hate the ending. I avoided it until now, as it's on Netflix now, but man I really wish I didn't watch it lol Even the animation is pretty terrible. The background characters are all poorly drawn. The soundscape is so weird and hollow. Also batman definitely explicitly killed at least one carnie in this movie lol Really weird how emotionless Batman is in this thing.
