I've just started using Babbel. It's interesting, and I like that I can go through once or twice a day and just spend a few minutes at a time. I just worry that maybe I won't be able to retain this information I'm learning.

Does anyone else use Babbel? Have you had much success with it? How do you remember everything you've learned?

I got a lifetime subscription, though life was hectic last year and fell out of the habit of using it everyday.

I uh, don't live in France, so I can't say how effective it is. But it's fun!

Expected this to be a vent against Vlado's Babe Brawl series or what have you.

It seems that I've discovered the catch. I've bought the lifetime subscription to the automated lessons, but online lessons cost extra. If you don't have anyone to talk to, then you're paying $100 a month (or $600 a year, if you can front the money) for practice.
