Who wrote the story? The entire Area Zero section completely blew me away. It was like, all of a sudden, a completely different game/vibe. They managed to turn a game that had very little dialogue overall into the most interesting story I've ever seen out of Pokemon. Wtf.

The whole idea of paradox Pokemon, the concept of Terastalizing and how it ties into Paldea's lore, and just how they managed to connect everything together so well also impressed me. And all of the music in that part of the game was great. Like what happened? Did they change writers at the last minute?

Surely it was planned that way from the start. If you read all the books at the Academy you can get a glimpse of how the story will evolve to focus on those concepts. It was pretty well done I think. And there's a still a lot left unexplained. The story of whatever DLC they come out with might end up being almost as big of a draw as the new Pokemon that will inevitably come alongside it.
