Like some kind of channel that will give you the gist of everything that happens in an entire series in less than an hour, with video clips and a full run down of everything relevant. I've read entire plots before, but it's hard to relate to people in convos when I can't picture any of the characters they are talking about.

Why not just watch the show? What's the point in engaging in a conversation about a series you haven't watched unless it's being recommended to you?

Most series are over 10 hours, with many being over 70 hours.

People regularly recommend shows to me, like I can just throw away 50 hours to their shit every month. I will never watch it, but it would be fun to get some of the highlights and talk it over with them.

Yeah, if you don't have time to watch a show, just don't watch it. Acting like you've seen a show that you haven't is pretty lame.

I'm not going to pretend I've seen the whole thing. But it would be nice to be in the know and have a sense of what happened without dedicating 70 hours to something.

There are recap channels on YouTube summarizing a couple eps on a 10-20min videos, tho you won't find them easily using the name (that's like painting a target on yourself for DMCA)

I found a couple series I've actually watched through this, like wayward pines

I would start with a show you want to know about and go from there. The best recap/analysis is probably going to be different people depending on the series imo
