What the FUCK is this? 1% back everywhere 4% back on the quarterly bonus category which is grocery 4% back on grocery stores for the first year(a bonus I didn't even know that I had). God damn, Chase really wants to pay me to go to Las Vegas I guess. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I'm pretty sure the 1% everywhere doesn't stack with the other bonuses. I'm actually willing to bet none of them do. I've never seen cash back top 5% on anything. --- Most people are other people. I would have thought so, too, but the bonuses all stack. The breakdown is listed on my grocery purchases and indeed it says 9% on my rewards account summary I saw a reddit post from 2020 about this glorious benefit...I am no expert churner, but I don't know why i havent heard of this before. (the one bonus on quarterly categories expires in march and then a new category pops up, and the grocery benefit is on the first 12K for first year of card membership) ... Copied to Clipboard!

Whenever i do the basic math, categories rarely gives me a bigger benefit than 1.5% back on everything. Now if there's a card that's 2%+ on everything, i want it. I think paypal or venmo had one for a brief period. I spend mainly on food, but i also put big expenses on my card like insurance and stuff for the rewards, so whenever a card offers 1% on everything else, the bonus category doesn't benefit me enough. My visa card gives bonus points like every other month for spending so much or using the card for a specific purpose. I got almost $60 last month due to Christmas and bills. --- Warning: Sometimes biased http://i.imgur.com/V0x5fw8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IOovUge.gif http://i.imgur.com/zw7bqPH.jpg ... I know of two 2% back everywhere cards: the Wells fargo active cash, which I also own to use on purchases that only get 1% and don't fall into a defined category, and the Citi double cash(or whatever) that gets you 1% when you buy, and 1% when you pay. I do not own that one. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Thanks for that advice! I will avoid Wells Fargo for sure but Citi sounds interesting. Is there limits for using your rewards? I have 5 years to use mine and usually need to spend at least ten dollars to use them, but PayPal allows me to use any amount. --- Warning: Sometimes biased http://i.imgur.com/V0x5fw8.jpg http://i.imgur.com/IOovUge.gif http://i.imgur.com/zw7bqPH.jpg ...
