Games you enjoyed but put down for whatever reason and now it's been so long and the game is so complex that you can't simply pick up and go again.

  • bloodbourne. Ffs, I made some good headway. I maay be able to salvage this but gonna have to run around the starter area getting a feel again.
  • Nier Automata. Absolutely have no idea how this game works anymore.
  • HZD. Same as above but might be able to figure it out.

Elden Ring.

I got about halfway into it, and while I was enjoying the game, that level of enjoyment decreased a little once I reached the one capital. anyway, I put the game down for a while, but I recently decided to get back into it, and I felt it was best to start from the beginning.

I'm going to do the same thing with Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Yeah the game is great but man they don't seem to realize how slow having an intro that takes hours is horrible for replay value

Which is a shame because when the game DOES open up the replay value is immense

I did finish it, plus both DLC, but I lost the save when I switched systems. Felt like playing again, so its back to the beginning for me.

Hades
Skyrim
Ghosts of Tsushima

And a few games that I'm close enough to the beginning where it doesn't matter either way.

Breath of the Wild is on the edge...started a new playthrough last summer, and got about halfway through the Champion's Ballad. Not sure if I want to finish up this time, or start over from scratch.
