Ok, so basically I'm suiting up as Spidey. It's an RPC studios suit with attached mask and as some of you know, it's a bit difficult to undo and put back on with the face shell and all. Anyways, so my question is, do I suit up at the hotel, and walk over to the con? And do they do like an ID check at the entrance? And yeah, that's pretty much it because if so, the whole mask process can be a bit of a pain to get back over my face because it's an attached one with a face mask. Just asking for a reference here as I said this is my first one. Thanks.

There are no rules with cosplay; do whatever works and is most convenient for you. I usually changed in the restroom on location the couple times I cosplayed.

I've been to a lot of cons, but to be honest they were all fairly small; never been to the big ones before. Rules and customs vary by company, but they likely start checking ID and distributing badges a little early; you'll probably want to get that done as soon as possible.

I would leave the mask off until you're through security.

Make sure you are comfortable and can handle being in the suit for a long period of time.

A friend of mine decided to wear a fursuit to the San Diego Comic Con (early 2000s), and almost passed out by the time he got to my table.
