I've had significantly more problem with jackass Dashers than DoorDash themselves. They've been decently fair to me.

I got the free grubhub from amazon prime and i used it three times and 2 of the 3 were the drivers stealing my food. They wouldnt take the drop off picture and would just say it was delivered and keep it.

Luckily i always got my money back but its almost always the drivers.

my acct was deactivated halfway through my order
spent half hour getting it back
placed order...deactivated again
spent half hour doing it again
deactivated again

gave up at this point. It's been an hour and a half of dealing with scripts and ugh

Doordash I think is the one that I have the most problems with out of it, Uber Eats, Grub Hub, and Postmates. They take forever to arrive and the food is cold. One time we were having a little celebration at work so we scheduled an order for our tiny division. The dude came half an hour before the scheduled time because he said he thought it would be better if he came early. Im like why the fuck do you think we set a time dipshit? Its not lunch yet; were still working. Plus he showed up across the street at the wrong address first. I had to tell him so many times that he was at the wrong place <_<

I dunno... Fedex has been testing my patience the past couple days. Tells me my Steam Deck will be in yesterday. Gets held up in Montreal. Now it tells me it will be delivered today, only to tell me 10 minutes later that its stuck in a sorting facility in my city with no thought of delivering it, despite there being 0 snow outside. I could go and grab it, but businesses are closing for a possible snowstorm, which probably will not come.

Yeah... little peeved at that.

They dont care? Every time Ive filed a complaint theyve always been quick to make me happy and give me refunds and even extra money/credits for the hassle.

Maybe they decided to eat it out of spite for a terrible tip, I had it happen a few times for a Carls Jr. order and one from a long John silvers. Money refunded both times gave drivers 0 stars if I could.

I understand there are people that have no choice but to use food delivery services.

But, and this may just be the old man in me speaking, if you're an able bodied person with your own transportation, and you STILL order through these food delivery apps, then you're just a lazy bum.
