Deltarune has got me thinking. Susie will always attack enemies and you have to warn them if you want the enemies to live. It would be cool AF if Ralsei would heal enemies if you tried to attack them as well.

But are there other RPGs or games where this idea has been implemented? Your own party members just working against you

Well I meant it as a joke. Its not her characterization to be so useless, but once she learns Mind Charge she becomes a pita to deal with >_>

Not sure if they count as party members but computer controlled "allies" in Fire Emblem often commit suicide by rushing headfirst into enemies that'll destroy them or will killsteal enemies with drops/boss exp so you often have to actively rush to stop them.

I was going to say a berserker like umaro from final fantasy 6, but to be fair he is a goddamn yeti. He don't know any better, lol. Just attack until thing he hittin' is dead.

Speaking of berserkers, rei from breath of fire 3 is a good one. Once you meet back up with him after the timeskip, you learn that holy shit, he has a weretiger transformation. The thing is, when you use the transformation rei will slowly lose control of himself as the battle goes on, and not only that he will continually grow stronger as well. This dude CAN one shot you, lol.

There is a way to get around it though.....you have to use the influence enemy skill on another party member to get him to target who you want to hit. Something I did not quite get as a 15 year old dumbass at the time lol. I started using influence way later on.

In the first titan battle in Pokemon Scarlet, Arven's pokemon used a move to prevent my pokemon from switching out and then his immediately died on the first turn. I'm not sure how scripted that was exactly, but 100% of his actions in that battle worked against me.
