I mean, he's a great guy I'm sure and it's a shame it was canceled, but it was definitely canceled for more than just financial success. Season 3 goes off the island entirely and becomes a generic episode of Black Mirror that's more focused on talking about big data and social media than it is the core premise of the series. Not that strange. 2 years between seasons is guaranteed to make hype die down, and then you add how obtuse season 2 was with the way it presented its story, and it was bound to lose a few season 1 fans. Anthony Hopkins was a huge draw so losing him didn't help either. You know I actually liked season 3 somewhat ironically minus the annoying breaking bad guy everyone seems to like. Tbh some people were so hooked by the s1 storytelling twist that they weren't going to be satisfied by season 2 no matter what happened. Did they ever show other parks? I know from the old movie or whatever that other parks exist with different themes than the American Wild West. I have heard of Rome World and Medieval World I never did ever watch Westworld but I would have wanted to see the other parks.
