No. You'll still get better than console performance on a $350 part Honestly the reason I game on console more is because it's what I grew up with and for the most part it's still plug and play, after you've downloaded the game. And with devs optimizing for consoles, that extends the life of your parts. Beyond that, PC is multipurpose. You'll be getting more mileage out of your PC, no question.
