That would be our Milky Way Galaxy. And seeing as it would probably take thousands of years to travel between galaxies, even at advanced speeds, this means "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away" still holds true.

E.T.'s arrival on Earth in 1982 is a result of a Star Wars senator making plans for an extra-galactic survey thousands (perhaps even tens of thousands) of years ago.
