any of you like using ebay more?

They have entirely different purposes for me. Amazon is the oh shit I forgot that when I was doing groceries place. eBay is where I go to get retro games since people in my area usually know what they have and game stores have notable mark ups around here.

I don't shop at Amazon often enough to justify Prime, so ebay is usually cheaper for me after shipping.

I pretty much refuse to use eBay, period.

I've bought one thing off it in my entire life, and in that case I had a friend of mine order it for me.

ebay is better for finding, like, specific things... amazon is more like a storefront where you only have access to what's on the shelf

Before I had Prime I liked eBay more, but free two-day shipping is hard to beat.

Yeah. As Amazon don't give free delivery unless I spend over 20. I bought WWE 2K22 for 20 with free delivery on ebay. Amazon put it at 19.99 just so they can charge for delivery. This is just one example but it does put me off Amazon unless I'm spending over 20.

Sums it up. I've only used Prime when it was a free trial. I refuse to pay for it.

For what I usually buy (old video games), ebay is better. Amazon wants every seller to use the stock picture they give (with old stock like this, seeing what you're getting is imperative) and people on Amazon mark up their prices like mad

Agreed. ebay is where you go for random stuff you want but don't need. Like I got my dad this old 60s pellet gun that he had as a kid on ebay, or like I got my brother an AAF Memphis express hat on there as an inside joke. Amazon is where I get my every day items

eBay for sure. I still sell things on there too. Similar to what a lot of people on here are saying, I mainly buy video game things and eBay seems to be the best place for that. Id rather not give Amazon my money.

i don't really use ebay ever, but i actively avoid amazon anymore. run by morons that don't deserve the money they get, employees that actually do the work are treated like crap, and their warehouses are incredibly unsanitary and disgusting.

Ebay is my second choice after Amazon.

eBay is better for old stuff, and stuff you can only find stuff that will be resold. Amazon is better if you need something that is brand new and is still on market products.

Though I rather go directly through the seller then use Amazon if i have a choice (eg: I order my lego from lego.ca, not Amazon)

Amazon is definitely not my first choice when buying Gundam kits

I do, because ebay can be a lot cheaper in the shipping department. And sellers are more likely to give you your tracking info.

I mostly use Amazon when I've got gift cards, or there's an exclusive item.
