bigblu89 01/04/23 9:58:02 AM #22:	While NYC, and any large city for that matter, have their share of rude/obnoxious people, I think a lot of the stigma of the "rude New Yorker" stems from the fact that most just keep to themselves and just want to get from the train to their office as fast as possible and have no time to really dilly dally. So people equate that silence/standoffishness to being rude.
