Beef, onion, garlic, carrots, red chili, chickpeas, some green lentils, spiced with chipotle, cumin, oregano etc with couple twist ingredients.

It was mostly to save the beef, I fucked up.

This was main course for new years, and messed up the meat, cheap cut, overdone, cut it the wrong way, I wasnt that sober tho. Today the beef was great in the soup.

Its beef I marinated and cooked in the oven with stock and veggies. Served with mashed potatoes, a brussel sprout salad with sauteed onions, walnuts, arugula and a few lingonberries. Sauce is a cream sauce made from the meat, stock and veggies. The stuff on top is deep fried potato peels.

I love soups, dont care much for smooth ones, I want pieces of food in my soup. I dont make enough soups.
