The aliens are called Navi. That is their species name . An Avatar is a human who transfers their mind into a cloned Navi body. I have not seen the sequel yet, but in Avatar 1, there is only 1 Avatar in the movie, the main character. The other aliens are just native born natural Navi ... Copied to Clipboard!

The Empire in the original trilogy was extremely Human Supremacist and hated aliens. But the movies didn't want to make a bunch of alien heroes ... Copied to Clipboard!
