Gameplay is actually really fun and pretty deep. Story is basically nothing. At least in the first 10 hours.

Yes lots. First one involves the warriors of light coming to fight the MC. Second one has Gilgamesh coming to fight the MC. Its heavily implied the third one coming soon has Emperor Mateus from FF2 coming to fight the MC for some reason. And with those DLC episodes comes with new classes I think and new enemies

jack interrupts a boss pre-battle monologue by yelling "i don't give a fuck who you are" and then attempting to punch it, only to be repelled by an energy barrier. the boss continues the monologue unfazed

That actually sounds hilarious. If you were taking this game too serious, you were playing wrong. We knew before it dropped that it wasn't something to take serious. And Im sad I didn't get there, cause that sounds right on brand

Its a fun game but the storys pretty short and after that you grind out the same missions over and over similar to avengers.

fun but sucks the story wasnt longer or something to keep it interesting.
