Im on iPhone now but had an android for years after having one of the first batch of iPhones, which were shit.

Never had a problem getting a girlfriend.

I just had wonderful sex with my gf of two years today with my Android on the deck near my bed.

I have an iPhone simply because that was what I got first like 15 years ago and its just been easier to stick with the same thing

I agree.

I bought a top of the line IPhone outright earlier this year. Its a good phone. Is it better than my last 5 or so phones? A little bit. It also cost nearly a grand and a half and is in no way worth that.

For a reason I will never understand, iPhone users go into a rage when they see green text messages. So they sometimes refuse to chat with android. Groups of iPhone users will not even let an android user be in their group chats

And girls will not talk to a guy who has green text

iphones are great and are probably the better tech to have in a phone. The issue is that most of the convenience/utility of an iphone is predicated on owning apple TV, imac, etc. For the linkability. Having JUST an iphone, and then like a smart TV and a PC, actually works against having an iphone because you lose the convenience factor.

I have a PC so i have an android and the linkability is basically seamless. Not so for iphones.

I discovered over Christmas that iPhones can't pause/resume video recording so that it's one continuous clip. That's....insane.

Well, I guess that's why I run on Android (Samsung).

Hate iOS so I will never use an iPhone. Their hardware is fantastic and they do wonderful things with how the software integrates itself with the hardware to get the most out of everything it can.

But iOS is absolutely dreadful

I'm fine sticking with Samsung until they move on to Fushcia where I'll want to see how that ends up before jumping aboard

My partner uses Android as well, specifically Pixel but is looking to go for Samsung after this one

Me and my bf have androids. Easier to use and more importantly they are cheaper then anything Apple. Even my wireless earbuds are cheaper then airpods. I don't care about what someone else has though

iOS is awful and limits users far too much to be better

It's an 'easier' OOB experience, but not by much.

iPhones have minimal relevance outside the US too

So he just combined "a lot of people here have androids" and "a lot of people in the online space are socially inexperienced" into one convenient troll by ramming them together regardless of them being unrelated. Very efficient way to get a reaction from a large amount of people quickly.

Well, I guess that's why I run on Android (Samsung).

Also discovered through my wife that there's no search messages function in iMessage. For shame.

And yeah, on the sharing front, I'm in the Galaxy ecosystem so I use Quick Share (basically AirDrop for Samsung devices) to transfer media to all my devices in original quality.
