I wouldn't particularly mind. As for the friend, well I'd like to think I wouldn't make friends with someone quick to offend. The boy was trying to mock him and mess with him until the girl told him (wisely) to stop antagonizing the guy In the end, the girl had the right idea . People saying to fight him, are expecting the boy to risk being killed and also putting his girlfriend in danger, just to satisfy some crazy person I once was approached by someone like this. They told me on a street corner, waiting for a light to cross, that they had told me in the past never to show my face around there again. They said they had a knife on them, and they were going to cut me. I refused to say anything or make eye contact and walked away when the light came ... Copied to Clipboard!

I wouldn't begrudge someone their feelings. However I also wouldn't stick around someone with the tendency to escalate a situation. There are ways of dealing with things besides anger and violence.
