I had a lot of fun playing Mario Party Superstars for a couple of boards even by myself (and I say that as definitely not a big fan of the series). Depends on if you're going to play it handheld or not. You would need to prop the switch up somehow to use the pro controller in handheld mode. Xenoblade is good. Breath of the Wild is supposed to be good but I haven't played it yet. Mario Party Superstars is the superior Switch version, we play Kart sometimes as a CE group so I'll toss you an invite sometime. Pretty much every zelda game can be treated as standalone, there's no continuity from one game to the next other than recurring characters. It's almost like a parallel universe every time.
