I added Death Stranding to my library when it was free 2 days ago.

Now its not showing in my library and I cant download it lest I pay.

Did you get the confirmation e-mail? Maybe you closed the window before the "purchase" finished processing? It's in my library, so it doesn't seem like they rescinded the giveaway or anything like that.

I have the email.

Maybe contact their support, then. If you've got a confirmation email, that means their system did register you claiming the game, so whatever error prevented you from actually getting it shouldn't be too hard for them to fix.

I haven't been on the Epic Store for years but the general answer to "wtf is wrong with it" is because it's a cash grab.

I'm sure they've done some improvements over the years but they released it in an objectively inferior state to it's main competitor and had little to offer so they just starting buying exclusivity agreements to force people to use the platform. It's trash.
