Alternatively how early do you put them up, and then figure out the +/-

Haven't decorated for Christmas in years but when my family and I used to celebrate, we'd have our decorations up the first week of December, decorate the tree a few days before Christmas, and have everything down after New Years.

Usually whichever the last free day I have before the 6th is (so it'll be the 4th this year).

They go up mid-December.

Usually put them up Thanksgiving weekend, and take them down the first pleasant weekend of January (or February if January sucks).

Cool. Glad to see not everyone ripping them down the day after.

I ALWAYS take mine down after Jan. 7.

I actually haven't taken down my Christmas tree since 2021

Usually just whenever I feel like a day or two after Christmas. Not really something I have a conscious system for. Haven't taken them down yet this year cause I have flu and feel like crap.

When I bother putting them up they go up on the 24th, and come down on the 26th.

Day after Thanksgiving - January 1.

I don't have any so I don't put any up

i pretty much leave my christmas decorations and tree up til the 26th. then pack that stuff up

12 days after Christmas

Or if the trash wants to have the trees set out sooner

Like a week or two into January

They get taken down before the kids head back to school.

Ukrainian Christmas isnt until normal calendar January 7th so I try to keep the lights on at least for that.. and likely a few days after

Take it down on New Year's Eve or New Year Day. Just depends on what day of the week they fall on. We have way too much Christmas stuff so it takes a few hours to take down and get back into the totes and keep them organized.

Such an amazing feeling busting out all the Christmas totes to begin the season. So melancholy packing it all away. At least, for me.

They go up after Thanksgiving and typically stay up until whenever in January we finally get around to taking them down

Goes up: Day after Thanksgiving

Comes down: Usually the first week of the new year.

My dads in the hospital and weve not even had Christmas yet. Ill keep those things up until July if thats when we finally have Christmas.
