Despite any launch issues, how is the game itself? Have the launch issues been addressed? Ignoring any issues at launch, how is the game and story itself?
I heard that they will basically be reworking melee combat so there's still a long way to go I guess

I got it at launch for the PS4 and it was a complete mess. I wouldnt mind giving it another go but waiting for the PS5 version first.

It's not what was promised, so I don't fault anyone who looks at it poorly for that.

But, if you take it for what it is. A small rpg with a good story/cast and not a big open world to explore like Skyrim/GTA etc, then you will enjoy it much more.

It's a fine game. If you didn't follow it during development, then you won't have the expectations many had. For what is though, it's an entertaining romp. It does suck that it didn't deliver half of its promises. But like I said if you didn't follow the hype, it won't bother you and you can appreciate it for what it is.

What system would you get it on? That matters a lot for Cyberpunk.

I just got it from the steam Christmas sale for my new PC with a 3080. I've only put in around 4 hours so I can't say anything about the story, but the game is fun so far. I know they're redoing melee so I'm doing a gun based build.

It's still not running perfect, I've seen an occasional graphical glitch, mainly catching characters T posing. There was a funny one where a montage started playing, I could hear the audio, but the camera was at ankle level on a random street with a few characters T posing and gliding down the sidewalk. That went on for around 10 seconds before it fixed itself. Haven't had any gameplay glitches yet.

PC. I got a 4080
