I'll definitely say the only 3 things that prevent me from giving this movie a 10/10 is the awkward editing from scene to scene, boring and cliched dialogue for an already cliched story, and the third act feeling really stretched (so I guess the movie length in general). A slight qualm was that I felt Jake was a moron in this movie and Neytiri got sidelined very hard. Otherwise yeah, I actually like this movie. It was obvious James Cameron was going for immersion and seeing it in 3D IMAX really helped with that. The action scenes were really good and well choreographed that didn't rely on the action being poorly lit or shaky camera. I also really did like that the movie took it's time with the world building, because to be honest that was the best part of the movies. I just wanted to see more of the world, so I kind of rolled my eyes when it went back to a scene with the humans. I did enjoy the scenes when the family members were bantering with one another, I just wished the movie did more of that.

8/10 for me.
