Yes it is about delivering parcels from A to B but that sort of reductionist logic can be applied to pretty much any game if youre wanting to be disingenuous.

A few hours in you unlock vehicles and other things to make life easier for you. Further on you unlock zip-lines etc to get from A to B in seconds. My favourite achievement is setting up a full zip-line network in the mountains. Your first full journey across might take 45 minutes. Once you have your zip lines set up 45 seconds tops!

Ultimately thats beside the point. Its a very plot driven game. If you like peak kojima then this is pretty much for you. If you cant stand his story telling style stay away.

damn it sounds so lame trying to explain it to someone lmao. but it is kojima and highly rated so i still plan to give it a try. i built a high end pc over the summer and really haven't done much of any gaming on it. definitely nothing to get close to trying to push it so i really should play some more modern games on it.

It was worth the $60 imo. Hope some you become new fans. The only bad thing about it being free is that it's easy to write off if it doesn't immediately pull you in >_<. But, it actually immediately pulled me in, so who knows. Some games that become my favorite of it's year have taken me 5-10 hours to not hate and I only pushed longer cause I paid money lol.

Seems so. Guess they just wanted to give vanilla for free to entice everyone to cough up $6 or w/e and then took it off.

I tried to get it yesterday, but the servers were overloaded and I had to leave for work. I'm kinda pissed I missed it now
