An Arizona judge on Saturday rejected Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lakes lawsuit attempting to overturn her defeat, concluding that there wasnt clear or convincing evidence of misconduct, and affirming the victory of Democratic Gov.-elect Katie Hobbs.

I watched some of this trial and it was a mess. Kari Lake is going to waste more time and appeal the ruling, but there's no chance of success with the clean show her legal team put on. They had two major arguments in the trial. The judge threw out the vast majority of her claims beforehand.

They spent a bunch of time on the printer issues and focused on the fact that 19" ballots were printed instead of the proper 20" ballots. Even her own witness admitted that any ballots that would have been printed would have been counted. Not did they come anywhere in the ballpark of proving that the printer errors were the result of intentional misconduct.

Another major argument was that the wait times in Maricopa County due to the printer issues caused enough votes for her to be suppressed that she lost. They had about 200 affidavits, from what I've been reading about this trial, that said the wait times affected them. However, they admitted in court that only about 3 of those 200 people ended up not voting.

Kari Lake needs to stop wasting people's time and money and stop, but she's going to run the Trump playbook as far as she can.

Lmao, armed with this kind of 'evidence' it's a wonder she even tried.

It's hard to say really. Usually I lean on "it's just a fucking grift" side of things. With her though? It's hard to say, she's legit unhinged so she could actually believe this nonsense.

Oh look. Another election fraud claim dismissed due to lack of evidence.

What's this, like 250 by now? Surely they'll get the message this time.
